The NotchPilot desktop app is 100% local — it sends nothing to us, ever. This policy describes only what the website notchpilot.app collects when you visit it or buy a license.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect on the website
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. We collect anonymized usage data (page views, country, device type, referrer) to understand which content works.
- Purchase data (via Paddle) — when you buy NotchPilot, our payment provider Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, Ireland) collects your name, email, country, and payment information. Paddle is the merchant of record. See Paddle's privacy policy.
- Support emails — if you email us, we keep the conversation in our inbox to help you.
3. What we do NOT collect
- No data from the NotchPilot desktop app — it is fully local.
- No tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.
- No third-party social media trackers.
- No newsletter list — we do not send marketing emails.
- No data sold or shared with advertisers.
4. Cookies
The site uses one optional first-party tool: Google Analytics 4. It is loaded only after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Decline", no analytics cookies are set.
Strictly necessary storage (your cookie consent choice itself) is kept in
localStorage and never transmitted.
5. Where your data is stored
- Analytics: processed by Google LLC (USA) under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Purchase data: stored by Paddle (Ireland) and its sub-processors.
- Website hosting: OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France.
6. How long we keep data
- Analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics default retention).
- Purchase records: 10 years (legal accounting requirement under French law).
- Support emails: until you request deletion, or 3 years after the last interaction.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are an EU resident, you have the right to:
- Access your data
- Rectify or delete it
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time (for analytics, by clearing cookies)
- Lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr)

8. Changes to this policy
We will update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
